Mario Kalweit in Dortmund

Basically, I'm not a big fan of picking up and warming up. In order to support the local gastronomy, I still ordered the Christmas menu from Mr. Kalweit and his team. The food was delicious and I look forward to going to a restaurant when the situation has changed.

The food was very tasty.

Not only was the attentive staff the absolute hit during our visit, but also the good climate. The decoration on the tables and in the entire restaurant is reasonable and tasteful. The toilet is always clean and all in all the place makes a nice impression. I found the offer extremely pleasant. I usually didn't want to share the dessert with my sister at all. We have now learned from this and will each order a dessert next time.

We had a very nice Christmas menu. As a Christmas present there was a small bag of tomato seeds. I was so happy because I grow my plants myself every year and the seeds are a mix of varieties. The seeds have now been sown in the indoor greenhouse. I am curious ...

We had our Christmas party from the office here and were very surprised that we were the only guests that evening. Had ordered a four course meal in advance. Unfortunately and that was not just my personal impression, the dishes were well made in terms of craftsmanship, but very far from an exceptional taste experience. For the four-figure amount that had cost us the whole evening, we had simply hoped for more. Unfortunately, the service was attentive but very friendly, so we ended the party relatively early. Unfortunately no recommendation from me .....

We spent the first day of Christmas with Mario Kalweit. There were two different menus, my wife had menu 1 with the pikeperch and I had menu 2, both were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The service is also really good. We will come back in any case.

The seats were excellently cleaned and the armchairs were extremely comfortable. The workforce has worked fix, clean and friendly. The selection of drinks we found the very first cream! I can really recommend this restaurant!

A nice summer evening on the big terrace. The menu was also served meatless on request. The service was courteous and friendly.

Fantastic food and very friendly staff. The food today was fantastic again. And another fantastic evening. And again fantastic. 27.7. simply good. The surprise menu Tuesday through Thursday is fantastic. 8.2. nice wine tasting with great coordinated food. The birthday menu for the 15 year old was great.
